It’s hard to imagine the level of damage incurred in Japan from this earthquake. The damage from the Earthquake alone was massive, but the subsequent tsunami was horrendous. Coupled with several Nuclear Plants about to go into meltdown, it’s a safe bet to say that the cleanup is going to take a very, very long time.
The Japanese people need help, if you can, please donate to the Red Cross. It’s easy to do, just visit their website by clicking the image to the right, and donate whatever you can, even if it’s just 10 dollars.

absolutely incredible, allen. was this shot by you? thank you for posting. this video really gives me a terrifying idea of what the biggest portion of the tsunami looked like.

I did not shoot the video. From what I was able to gather, the video was shot by a local news crew on the ground, apparently they were originally filming from the air, and descended to the ground in order to get this shot. The video was cut off exactly where this video ended. I assume they made it, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have gotten this clip.
I can’t imagine what those people driving on the road must have thought when this was happening. I just hope people that see it are motivated enough to donate whatever funds they can to relief organizations that are assisting the survivors of this disaster.
