“Greed is’nt Good”

No, it’s not a typo, you read the title right. While I was on the way to a family barbeque, I encountered this bumper sticker……

I live in a pretty progressive city, so anti-profit bumper stickers are nothing new to me, but this is the first time I’ve seen one on the back of a car owned by someone with absolutely no English grammar skills. For those of you that are hoping to turn their vehicle into a political punch-line on wheels, it might benefit you to revisit second grade to learn all the wonderful rules surrounding the uses of the apostrophe.

Really, making a typo in a letter or a paper is one thing, but slapping only three bold words on a high contrast background and screwing it up is pretty hard to do. Especially when you read it before you put it on your car, and then drive around with it for god knows how long.

I couldn’t help but laugh at this person, I bet he thinks he’s socially conscious, hip, trendy, and part of the solution, while he loudly proclaims to the entire world that he failed grade school.
