I found this today while I was trolling around the internet. The video is absolutely amazing. The expressions of joy, fear, and curiosity on the faces of the natives are incredible. The way they touch the man to determine if he is “OK” is amazing. The natives are flabbergasted by a pack of matches, and a mirror. Technology we use all the time, yet they had never seen it.

Great video, dumb music
I agree, I can’t stand it when tubers overlay a bad music track. I would have preferred to hear the natives talking. All the same, the video is quite amazing.

If you can’t tell, they took the recording of the natives in the video and set it to music. If you listen at the point where he speaks into the recorder, you can tell. It is simply looped over and over to the music. I think it is perfect!
As for the video, it is astounding!
Great video, great music! I believe they are touching him to see if the “white” comes off and black is underneath. If only we could discover one another as in the video. Alas, we fail to see each others uniqueness. Peace to all.

Simply put…..very cool. Cheers to these guys that went out and made contact. Their lives shall be enriched for years to come.
Enriched? How? What good has ever come from these types of “discoveries” at least for the tribespeople? Next thing you know all their land will be deforested and they will be left with nothing but that cheap mirror and an empty matchbox.
